I find machine learning to be endlessly fascinating.
I believe that the best way to learn is from designing and executing small individual projects and exploring interesting problems you encounter on your day.
Currently, my main focus of interest is exploring the human gut microbiome using machine/deep learning approaches.
I believe in applied research, where one can explore and experiment without getting stuck.
I believe in expanding the set of tools you work with and always trying to learn from other people’s mistakes.
Engineering
Engineering to me is all about solving problems.
Solving problems in a single, flexible, generic solution that is applicable in a broad range of use cases and environments.
I believe in sharing ideas and code, helping others to achieve their goals, and learning from what people had already tried and didn’t work.
